Compared to processed and cooked foods, raw foods provide significantly more nutrients that are necessary to good health which in turn is important to success in every aspect of life. According to alkalinity level requirements which must be about 7.4 prevent and eliminate diseases, the ideal diet for optimum human health consists of about 70 to 90 percent raw foods.

Why Nutrition from Raw Foods is Very Important In addition to the importance of pH balance being so vital to health, there are many other reasons why raw foods are so much healthier than cooked foods, including the many advantages of vegetarian proteins. Protein from beans, nuts, avocados and vegetables is pure and unlike animal foods, is free from cholesterol, unhealthy growth hormones, dangerous bacteria, and toxic preservatives.

Typical diets are so high in protein that osteoporosis can result because calcium is automatically taken from the body in the process of protein digestion to handle the acids released by protein digestion.

Too much protein can also overwork the kidneys, and contribute to cardiovascular disease. A diet that contains a significant amount of processed cooked foods, even with the usual vegetables and fruits added is still a diet that is virtually devoid nutrients and very high in chemical toxins.

Free radicals are created in foods during cooking, which many scientists have noted is a primary cause of cancer and other health problems. People in modern societies often complain of feeling hungry all the time. The mineral and vitamin depletion in cooked, commercially grown foods and processed foods causes people to feel sooner and more frequently regardless of how much food is eaten.

A few years ago, hardly anyone knew they existed. Now, antioxidants are all over the news. You’ve probably heard they’re good for you. And that that they’re found in fruits and vegetables. But for most people, that’s the extent of their knowledge. The following facts will help you gain a better understanding of these protective compounds which may just be the key to good health and a long life.

What are Antioxidants?
Antioxidants are naturally occurring compounds in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, seeds and teas. Your body also makes them on its own.

What Do Antioxidants Do?
Antioxidants protect healthy cells from free radicals. Free radicals are highly reactive oxygen molecules generated in the body as the result of normal metabolic processes, like breathing or converting food into energy. They also result from exposure to environmental factors like smoke, pollution and UV sunlight. Free radicals “attack” healthy cells, damaging their structure and DNA. Many scientists believe free radical damage is behind disease and aging.

How Do Antioxidants Work?
Antioxidants neutralize free radicals so they can’t damage healthy cells. It works like this (in a nutshell): Free radicals are “charged” (think of UV sunlight “zapping” cells in your skin). The charge causes them to lose an electron. In a frantic attempt to stabilize themselves, free radicals “steal” electrons from nearby molecules, damaging them in the process. Antioxidants are “extra” molecules in the bloodstream—there for the sole purpose of donating electrons to free radicals, stopping them from bothering healthy cells. You should have a regular supply of antioxidants in your bloodstream, to serve as an army against free radicals.

What Are the Best Sources of Antioxidants?
Vitamins A, C, E, carotenoids (like beta-carotene) and minerals are antioxidants. The best way to obtain them is to eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds. Top antioxidant foods include blueberries, blackberries, cherries, red grapes, Granny Smith apples, carrots, broccoli, green pepper, sweet potatoes, cooked tomatoes, walnuts, sesame seeds, almonds, kidney beans, red beans and pinto beans. Tea is also a rich source of antioxidants called flavonoids. Wine and coffee contain antioxidants called polyphenols.

Should I take Antioxidant Supplements?
Antioxidant supplements (available in pill, powder and liquid form) have been popular for decades and provide a concentrated, isolated source of the protective compounds. Many scientists believe, however, that the dietary, whole food sources of antioxidants are best for health.

Product Description

Dietary Supplement. No trans fatty acids. Burn fat! Zero lactose. Creatine GCC - Increased anabolic creatine output; Micellar Proteins - Stimulate muscle synthesis; LeanLipids - Designer fats promote leanness; Growth Peptides - Boost nitrogen balance; Complete A-B Caseins, Peptides and Lactalbumins - Trigger new growth; Lactoferrin - Increase oxygen delivery; Secretory IGA - Fight overtraining. Leading scientists rethinking the role of fats in increasing lean muscle growth have shown all fats are not created equal. The type of fat determines whether you use it for muscle energy or store it as body fat! Good lipids used in Muscle Milk promote fat loss in 3 ways: MCTs, the predigested fatless fats, are more likely burned for muscle energy and heat than stored as fat. 20% of human milk and Muscle Milk lipids are MCTs. MCTs also promote positive nitrogen balance. Long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids are also less likely to be stored as fat. We use special enzyme engineering to make these lipids even more functional, promoting anti-inflammatory effects and enhanced mineral retention. World's First Evolutionary Muscle Builder: Muscle Milk helps grow muscle faster than gainers, whey or even creatine. Muscle Milk triggers new levels of muscular growth in 3 ways other products can't: 1) Creatine GCC. 2) EvoPro Nature's Ultimate Anabolic Protein - Amino Blend. 3) LeanLipids - Good Fats That Help You Get Leaner: Human milk contains custom fat structures that actually promote leanness, while retaining more energy in the body. This promotes thermogenesis, enabling protein and amino acids to be used for muscle growth at higher levels. (These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
